Indian Lassi
is the one of the popular drinks in the Indian Subcontinent known for its
hydrating properties and good bacteria. The blend starts from classic mixes
i.e. Mithi Lassi & Namkeen Lassi and goes on to make a variety of tastes
that appeals the tongue.
Today the
food arena has developed so much that Lassi is available in fruity flavours,
earthy flavours, herbal infusions and even with dry fruits and more. Therefore
we like to explore it with as many ways possible. The summer bring about the
climatic change to this tropical drink making it one of the most desirable and
healthy drinks to go for!
As Lassi is
always great with infusions – I tried to mix it with the RoohAfza for the
ongoing RoohAfza series. The mild rosy taste of RoohAfza matches well the the
blend gives it a subtle sweetness and smell that appeals. Although RoohAfza
Lassi is a part of my homestyle lassi making during summers – I tried to
experiment with a new flavor too.
Pomegranate
became my savior. The fruit has a mild sweet-sour taste to match with Lassi and
an amazing oozing flavor that beats the odds. I mixed up a little concoction of
Pomegranate with the Lassi to take it to another level. Believe me, it tasted
heavenly!
So here is
the detailed recipe of the RoohAfza Pomegranate Lassi for you to enjoy!
