It is
winters and I cannot help digging into some lovely sweet dishes which are
absolute delight in winters. And being an Indian I love Gajar ka Halwa way
above the donuts and assorted chocolates and so here is a simple Microwave recipe
i.e. Gajar Ka Halwa in a mug for all of you.
If you have
been staying away from family or having a job which is keeping you away from
all the desi delights that is only available in the house in winters, here is a
little awesomeness you can still enjoy! The Mug Meals series is going to let
you cook simple food in no time with little servings so that even in low setup
you can make for yourself wholesome meals and sweet delights.
My Gajar ka
Halwa in a Mug is an effort to bring you closer to the home and fill your
senses with extreme joy. And so follow the video and pick the recipe from below
to make the most of it in no time.
Ingredients
1 cup
shredded carrot or a mug full
1 tbsp ghee
3 tbsp milk
2 Cashews
2 raisins
2 tbsp Amul
Mithai Mate
1 Cardamom
or Elaichi
Method:
- Take
a microwave safe mug and fill it with shredded carrot. Now add ghee to it and
put it in microwave for 3 minutes at full temperature.
- After the carrot is cooked add milk and cashew-raisins in it. Mix it well and again put it in microwave for 3 minutes at full temperature.
- Take out the mug and mix it well. Now add the Amul Mithai Mate and cardamom to it and again put it in microwave for 2 mins at 540 degrees or half the temperature.
- All the temperature settings are as per my LG microwave and if you think you want to go for the safer cooking, you can work with lower temperatures.
- Take out the mug and garnish with a few more cashews and your Gajar Ka Halwa in a Mug is ready!
