Ram Ladoo ~ The true flavour of delhi #StreetFood

A little sweet and a lot of spice.. & everything feels nice!

Winter charm beats all any other experience in Delhi. With sitting in front of angeethi or the bonfire for hours and enjoying the hot-cold feeling to grabbing a coat and walking to the nearest food stall and packing food to eat at comfort - We love winters for several reasons. And one of the reasons to love Delhi winters even more is its delicacy and food that is only pertinent to Dilli!

Ram Ladoo is a very special dish that is very special to the dilliwallas as is evident from the special name. This is actually the moong-chana-urad dal pakoras sort of fried snack which is loaded with radish – coriander chutney & dates chutney for a burst of flavours.

The grated radhish & chutney mix may sound a little out of the way but the flavor comes out amazingly and makes a jizz. The Ram ladoo is truly delectable and matches up with the love that street food has for us.

This delectable dish is available in stalls in and around delhi with people frying it right in front of you and serving as and how you like.

Plating: Mostly served in paper plates however if you eat in some good restaurants or dhabas you will get served in their cutlery style.

Price: INR 30 for a plate (8 pieces)

MyPlateReview Recommends: When visiting Delhi the true joy is to dig into food that speaks of the Delhi-love and this is one! Indulge into these little bombs of flavours and you keep satiating for more. I totally love them!
