Bihar Diaries by Amit Lodha
Publisher: Penguin Random House
ISBN: 978-0-143-44435-0
Genre: Non-Fiction
Pages: 280
Rating: 2/5

A light read with intriguing writing style and funny random moments. The focus is on the police department with political influences and average characters carrying about the story!

Handed over to me as a part of new launch, the title of the book seemed interesting “The True Story of how Bihar’s most dangerous criminal was caught’ and the fact that it is going to be turned into a movie directed by Neeraj Pandey intrigued me.

How about a book that takes you through a day in the life of 14 different characters and their stories?

I have always loved short stories and actually enjoy reading them because it takes a very short time to read a story while being amazed at how the writer puts in so much in just a few pages. Besides, its easier to finish a short stories book than a one story book!

Childhood stories and memories hold a special place in our lives. And the most interesting phase of it is the Teen age. The conversation starters, the happy laughs and finding oneself doing weirdest of things through Teenage stories indeed makes us nostalgic. Therefore, I couldn’t put this book down without having a thorough sink into the world of teenage crushes, first kisses, exams, physical explorations and a little taste of the real world but not enough to stop the drama.
