If corporate life looks like a fairyland with stable earnings and shiny bubbles moving in the air – Rishi Piparaiya has cleverly burst those bubbles and brought people to reality!

Taking a rather satirical take on the corporate life that takes the honest road to dealing with the crunching office politics, confusing situations and dealing with people of different motives - Job Be Damned is a light read with interesting use of words!

I have not read ‘Aisle Be damned’ and was very much in a judgment mode to know why the author would write ‘Job Be Damned’ after his first book titled so. Is he targeting all the career options?

And again, I looked at his qualifications and experience judging that he is going to probably vent out all the job frustration in this book. But I was impressed by the very definition of corporate success given by Rishi Piparaiya. So neat and on-point!

With his witty sense of writing that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt and a lot of laughing, he slowly takes on every aspect of job and brings out the secrets. Right from the newbies, interns, assistants to the corporate life crisis and senior level management – you have all the experiences in here!

I would be very honest here, the title seemed a lot cliché but the book turned out to be a commendable one – with its own humour and entertaining power!

20 chapters made into 6 sections takes us through the life of the corporate structure in different facets. Like entering an office and climbing the stairs, watching at every cubicle and gathering stories – the book bluntly takes out each situation and puts it right onto your face. From taking a hearty take on how to behave in an office party, fitting into the work life, relationship management and more, he has nailed in bringing forth a laughing tale of an average employee who dreams of making it big in the corporate world.

But one thing that book definitely teaches is – Not to be an Average!

Highly recommending this to the corporate employees – for a revelation and others like me – to have a good laugh!

P.S. Rishi Piparaiya if you are reading this & targeting jobs with your writing – can I please request something for the freelancers/bloggers too? Haha!
