Second day
of the Tea Talks and I cannot stop from sharing the excitement I have for the
upcoming posts too! Talking about tea is indeed a pleasure of getting indulged
into something that I have been deeply associated with!
We tea
lovers don’t just love the tea our way.. Give us anything tea and we would love
to try out..
And that is
why when the world has started over focusing the benefits of drinking green
tea, black tea etc. I cannot restrain myself from singing applauds about the
green tea culture that has been adhered to now in India.
Typhoo Tea
known to be selling tea since decades now made its entry into the Indian market
in the Year 2008 bringing to us all the new variants of tea including the fruit
infusions, green tea and what not. It is not until recently that tea has been
gaining a lot of momentum for its health benefits and proven results. Take the
milk and sugar out of your tea and it just turns into a health boon for you!
As for me I have
always been a fan of Doodh-chai or the milk tea because nothing beats the traditional
ways of serving tea in India specially when it includes aromas of your
favourite spices. But recently I had been on a fitness spree and found myself
searching for more green tea and liquor tea options (which is why Tea Talks
came into existence). My search led me to finding Typhoo Tea which has its
presence all over and is serving one of the best green tea sachets.
They house a
lot of varieties of tea in tea bags form which is sealed for keeping it air
tight. The wide range of flavours includes:
- Green Tea
- Jasmine Tea
- Masala Chai
- Moroccan Mint
- Lemon Grass
- Traditional Tulsi tea
- Darjeeling tea
While I did
not try all, I did put my hands on the two variants from Typhoo Tea India i.e.
the green tea and the jasmine tea.
Green tea ~
The tea bags come in sachets keeping them airtight and this one amazed me. It
took 2-3 minutes for the tea to infuse the flavor into the water cup and the
tint of green colour that it left looked amazing. The flavor was ecstatic and
tasted really well too. I loved this green tea because it was not as bitter as I
have experienced with other green teas.
Jasmine Tea
~ Talk of Jasmine tea and all you want to speak of is the blissful smell. Indeed
it did match up to my expectations leaving good liquor in my cup with the right
smell and little sweetness of the flower I would want on my tea cup. All in all
the perfect jasmine tea!
