Reading
while on the go feels like a habit for almost 60% of the travelers. Where some
people like to carry their reads in the form of paper books, Kindle, magazines
and more there are others who seek Airports as the place to pick on some great
reads. So be it newspapers, grabbing a book from the bookstore or just surfing
through internet – waiting for the boarding to take place or the train to
arrive is always filled with little tales that keeps them passing their time.
After successfully
writing for some of the top airlines and railways, like the Darpan and Namaskar
for Air India or even the Rail Bandhu for Indian Railways, The Pioneer Group
joined their hands with the Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport to bring
to the travelers an exceptional reading experience in the form of The DIALogue!
Being one of
the successful English Newspapers, The Pioneer has already made a mark in
Hotels and a few Airport Lounges with their Wellness and Lifestyle Magazine
“Exotica”. But ever since the launch of The DIALogue in November 2017, the
waves of reading went a few notches higher.
I am a
reader too and especially when I travel I need my bite of stories and news from
magazines. If I am not carrying a book – it is always about picking up one from
the bookstore at the airport. But this February when I was at the Delhi Airport,
right when I crossed the security I happened to cross a Magazine stand that was
stocked with the Airport Magazine (Strictly meant for the readers inside the
Airport).
I checked it
and wondered whom to pay but certainly there wasn’t any cashier or labeling of
amount on the magazine! I picked it up, grabbed a seat and started reading.
Now what
compelled me to pin down my thoughts here is the quality of writing and the treat
this magazine gives you. I was convinced that The DIALogue was offering fine
pieces of writing, a good blend of topics that range from travel, food,
culture, celebrities, fitness, sports, fashion, gifts and also an inherent
guide into the Delhi Airport!
From
celebrity airport looks to top brands inside the Airport, a virtual map of the
T3 Indira Gandhi International Airport and even a highlight of what events are
taking place in and around Delhi in the concerned month – They have it all
covered!
As much as I
enjoyed reading each of the articles featured I would like to raise a toast to
the writers of the Magazine because they have done a fabulous job at putting
the topics together in the most knowledgeable way possible!
If you are
into the Delhi Airport or might take a flight soon from here, I would really
want you to eye for the magazine stands inside the airport and pick THE
DIALogue for your read! It is Fabulous!
