2018 has 16 Long Weekends - Is it time for 16 short travels? #TravelGoals

Holidays continue to be the most celebrated days in a year. As soon as the new calendar arrives we either look for our birthdays or highlight the long weekends which mean a rescue for us from the daily routine.

Long weekends are an amazing way of planning short holidays and taking a break from the regular busy schedule. They allow time to not just travel but also include a fun trip with friends to the places we want to visit. So be it a small town near your city or even a holiday retreat like Goa, Long Weekend promises to help you put up with your travel goals!

The year 2018 has about 16 long weekends which means more travel, more peace and more experiences. Here are these with a little idea of the places you can choose to unleash your tired soul!

January

January alone has 2 long weekends to help you plan the vacation as soon as the year kicks in!
1.  20th (Sat), 21st (Sun), 22nd (Mon) – Monday being Basant Panchami is a holiday calling for the travelers to find their best plans ready for the first holiday of the year.

2.     26th (Fri-Republic Day), 27th (Sat), 28th (Sun) – Although Republic day is a dry day you can easily pick this day and may be an extra to travel to your favourite destination.

I say it’s a great time to head to Goa for catching the lively vibes of the celebratory time there. This is also a good time to head to Himachal to find snow capped mountains, treks and of course amazing scenic views on the hill.

February

February requires a little effort from your side to turn it into a holiday time. Its not actually a long weekend but you can try skipping a day to turn it into a 4 day holiday.

3. 10th (Sat), 11th (Sun), 12th (take a leave), and 13th (Mahashivratri) – There you go!
Doesn’t making Monday and Tuesday a perfect holiday plan seem mighty?? Great time to head to VH1 Supersonic that is happening in Pune this time and also the Udaipur World Music Festival. Both shall be held from 9th to 11th of February, 2018.
