The chikkis, gajjaks etc manufactured
on a large scale in India is one of the most treasured sweets from the ancient
India. And no matter how many lots of them mom cooks, it always ends up before
the winter ends. And so getting boxes of chikkis from local chikki wallas are
so common! But the CEO and co-founder of Hector beverages, Neeraj Kakkar when
in one of his food researches found out the unhygienic ways in which most of
the chikki wallas prepared this loved savoury, was determined to change the way
it was processed and give us a much healthy and clean way for our love. And
thus Paperboat rolled out its own production of chikkis in the form of mini
pocket packages available as travel carry pack which promises freshness, crispy
bites and bliss in every bite!

samples of the same as I loved each bite of it and the way it was packed
perfectly! Hector Beverages is known for its amazing Paper Boat drinks which
connects us all to the childhood memories and when I happened to open one of
the PaperBoat chikki packet, it was like revisiting my old days back! The days
when I used to assist my mom in the kitchen while she used to boil jaggery in
big boilers and cook for a long time until I cleaned the peanuts and made them
ready to mix.
The process by mom was undoubtedly the
most extravagant and loved! The mixing of the crisp peanuts and jaggery and the
restriction to touch it was like a long wait. And finally when I would get a
small piece of hard and crisp chikki – the happiness was incomparable. The shift
of lives have almost killed the old charm but thanks to Paperboat we can now
savour that very freshness in the Indian savouries as mothers would make us
feel in childhood!
