Be it any city there is always a
favourite place to be! The place which serve the best kind of taste, has a huge
number of fans and wins the heart of many people around. When you are in
Pitampura joyfully you have a lot of options of eatery amongst the beloved
places to be! And if there is one place which stands out even in this race – it
is Billu’s Hut!
Billu’s hut is a definitely love place
to be when it comes to different variations of Maggi, Oreo Shakes, Punjabi
style pasta, rolls and what not. A simple store with a window sized corner open
for orders and takeaways has been appreciated for its taste so much that it has
come be one of the favourite snacking place not just in Pitampura but all of
Delhi.
My experience with Billu’s Hut was
pretty different. With all the fame it had I have reached this place before but
never got chance to actually munch on their food until last time. I ordered
their Punjabi Style pasta, the vegetable rolls and two Oreo Shakes which BTW is
one of the popular picks from here!
The Punjabi Style Pasta~ When in Delhi
you cannot give a miss to the Punjabi touch on different dishes across the menu
which makes tasting them pretty exciting. And so did the Punjabi style pasta!
The pasta came in a mixed sauced version of penne pasta which was buttery,
cheesy and had a hint of the Punjabi curry taste. As creamy as it could get,
the pasta was heavy to eat one place on your own – But was extremely yummy!
Vegetable Rolls~ Spicy vegetables
mixed together with Mayonnaise and sandwich sauce, marinated well and them
filled into the rolls to make them taste yummy as ever! These rolls came in
huge pieces which was difficult to finish after the heaviest form of pasta I
had. But the soft texture and fresh veggies did taste good!
Oreo Shake~ Mindblowing. Awesome.
Insane. Three words that can aptly define the taste of this Oreo shake that I
have never been able it find anywhere else. Thick shake with Oreo flavor and
chocolate sauce and the powdered Oreo biscuits topped on it made the experience
amazingly awesome! This is a must have!
Ambiance: The place is always filled
with people who are waiting for their orders to be served. There isn’t any
sitting arrangement and this is only like a small counter which serves some of
the amazing food picks!
