A Day in the Life By Anjum Hasan

ISBN: 978-0-670-09040-2
Genre: Fiction
Pages: 230
Rating: 3.5/5

How about a book that takes you through a day in the life of 14 different characters and their stories?

I have always loved short stories and actually enjoy reading them because it takes a very short time to read a story while being amazed at how the writer puts in so much in just a few pages. Besides, its easier to finish a short stories book than a one story book!

A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena! Unflinching story of a fearless girl! | My Plate Review

A GIRL LIKE THAT by TANAZ BHATHENA
Publisher: Penguin Random House
ISBN: 978-0-143-44301-8
Genre: Fiction
Pages: 378
Rating: 4/5

Difficult and amazing – These are the two words I would choose for A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena!

I sat down to read this pretty debut novel with an amazing cover to lookout for a badass girl character which was described as a troublemaker ~ outspoken student. The girl by all means proves to be labeled and called as being a misfit in the society. Come to read of the first scene itself and you shall be intrigued. Tanaz Bhathena – You have beautifully opened the book with a scene where the two main characters of the book are dead and describing all about it!

Intriguing writing style, random moments, political influences and strong characters to sway your visions!

When you pick up a book from a shelf and decide to read it you treat it like a baby! Caress it everywhere you take it, rest it on your lap or a clean table and read it meticulously with utmost dedication. Of course for a reader a book is the best friend who completes their need.
