It’s not
very long that I have started loving mushrooms for its oozing flavours. About
of couple of years back I tried on a mushroom sandwich and completely loved the
flavours. At first it was just about that particular sandwich being repeated
again and again as a snack – but slowly the mushrooms in it were given a try in
several other dishes and that is where the love started growing.

The Bengal Raw Mango Spice Salad! #SummerRecipes #MangoSalad
The Bengal Raw
Mango Spice Salad ~ Like the name suggests this salad has a lot of flavours
that I associate with living in Bengal. Being born and brought up in Bengal,
the Bengali form of cooking and its authentic flavours always play as an
inspiration in your mind. The raw form of cooking that is most evident in the
food here is very different and flavourful.

Seviyan Kheer ~ The Vermicelli pudding for Ramzan! #EID2018 #Recipe
The holy
month of Ramzan is the purest of fastings that I have known. I guess the beauty
of this month lies in the constant dedication, following of the rules and the
belief that you are becoming a better self of yourself! As much as I love the
traditions of people keeping the fastings, the food that is made as part of Iftari
excites me the most!

EGGLESS Dark Chocolate Mousse for the chocolate lovers!
Let me tell
you something about chocolates! It’s the most difficult thing to work with and
yet so easy on the tongue!
Chocolate is
that one thing which makes everything taste like heaven for me & yet
learning to play with chocolates took me time because of the way it works. And
so it has always been an adrenaline rush to create something good with
chocolates.

#ROOHAFZA Rose Pistachio Kulfi | Homemade Indian KULFI #Roohafzaseries
Indian
desserts have a special place in heart! They aren’t just filled with natural
flavours but also stories from our childhood which give it a special love. Most
of the Indian Desserts that I have learnt have been passed on to me by my
mother who has pampered me in my childhood a lot with her cooking!

Pyaar Mohabbat Sharbat with Roohafza | The Old Delhi drink getting popular for its uniqueness! #ROOHAFZASERIES
I remember
the day quite well when I first put my hands on the ‘Pyaar Mohabbat Sharbet ‘in
Purani Dilli. While strolling through the roads of the Old Delhi and hunting
some delicious street food I happened to plan to go near Jama Masjid with one
of my friends! Right opposite Jama Masjid was this small stall with a man
putting up a large bowl of milk sharbat that intrigued me. I walked up to him
and asked what it is – the reply came ‘Pyar Mohabbat Sharbat’.
